The group aims to empower young people and encourage you to have your say about future events and activities. So far there has been a strong interest in films and music and relationships of course!

There are two youth workers who have experience of working in education, youth work, young people’s counselling and are aware of the stigma, isolation and difficult emotions that young people who are questioning/coming to terms with their sexuality might face.

Youth Pride meets in Newport each Tuesday from 6.30 pm - 9.00 pm.

The Youth Pride phone is checked daily for text and voice messages and is alternately manned by Chris or Clare on a weekly basis.
